Winter Practice Party

Throughout this past semester each one of my students have been working hard to pass off their songs so that they could get tickets and put a sticker on the practice chart.  If they filled up their practice chart then I promised that we would have a practice party.  Well December rolled around and all of my students filled up their practice charts!  I was so proud of them!  So, as promised, we had a practice party filled with Christmas bingo, a white elephant exchange, snowman making, and lots of yummy treats!

I wanted to build real snowmen with the kids but unfortunately in this 50 degree weather there was no snow.  So we built snowmen out of big and small marshmallows and they turned out great!  Thanks everyone for your hard practicing!!

New Rules

We talked about 3 new rules in our lessons this week that will help the students earn a lot of tickets and will help Ms. Stacey with teaching.  I wanted to remind everyone of our new rules:

1) No whining/complaining (or I get to have 1 of your tickets)
2) Respect the teacher and other student
3) Fill out your practice time on your lesson sheet BEFORE you get to your lesson and don't forget to bring your lesson sheet to the lesson to get tickets.

I think this will help all of us be happy and enjoy lessons each week!
